GRID COUPLING
GRID Coupling are required for transmitting high Torque ,Shock Loads frequently reversing and forwarding(inching application) power transmission from driving to driven equipment.
Grid Coupling reduces the vibration by 30% and also cushions shock loads to safeguard driving and driven power transmission equipment and reducing wear on the connected equipment components
Grid Coupling Comprises mainly two hubs, grid spring and covers to protect the spring. The grid springs are manufactured with high strength alloy steel that are tempered to spring hardness and are shot peened for increased fatigue strength protecting equipment against shock and vibratory conditions.The hubs are manufactured with high carbon steel that are capable of transmitting high torque
