Air Tube Brakes/Clutch
These assemblies are designed to be used both as Clutch & Brake in Power Transmission Equipment. They Transmit Torque Through the side walls of the flexible air tube, using torsional resiliency principle. These are suitable high speed, cyclic Operations.
Construction
The construction of this clutch and Brakes is very simple. Reinforced High quality Rubber Tube is bonded on the outside diameter and friction elements are bonded to inside diameter. Pressurizing the tube forces the friction material to transmit torque to the Cylindrical drum.
